Paul Nicholas "Nicky D." Demetres, of Bay Shore, died May 28, 2006. He was 57 years old.

Survivors include his children Debra Brewer, Paul, Michele Ciocia, Christine, Nicholas, Dasha and Vincent; 18 grandchildren; his mother Rose and his siblings Diane Wasliko and Pat Bertone.

Mr. Demetres reposed at the Overton Funeral Home, 172 Main St., Islip. A Mass of Christian Burial was said Thursday, June 1, 2006 at St. Mary's R.C. Church, East Islip. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Bay Shore.
