BaCCA honors drama students

BaCCA (Babylon Citizens Council of the Arts) has named the following Babylon Junior-Senior High School students as award winners in its annual Theatre Competition among high schools in Babylon Township. According to school Director of English/Play Director Lisa Drance, Christina Poio has been honored as Best Leading Female in a Play and Anthony Sgueglis as Best Leading Male in a Play. Babylon Village School District's presentation of The Foreigner received the award for Best Play of the year.
All three awards are among the most prestigious in the competition, reports Principal Robert Visbal, and his Ms. Drance and her students have received these awards for two years in a row.
