Black Tupelo trees in Babylon thrive for centuries

They stand tall, their ancient barks lined with age or balding. If they could speak, it would be with the wisdom of the ages. The only thing more dramatic about the 400-700 year old Black Tupelo tree, is that many make up part of the rich forestry and foliage of Southards Pond in Babylon Village.
