Students in Brentwood School District were recently inspired to embrace their passions with a visit from illustrator, Colin Bootman. Bootman was born in Trinidad and moved to the United States as a young boy. A comic book provided solace to Bootman in his new environment and gave him the inspiration to become an illustrator. During his visit at both Oak Park Elementary School and Southwest Elementary School, Bootman encouraged the children to follow their dreams.
