Babylon Village mayor attends BBPW luncheon

On January 19 Mayor Ralph Scordino had lunch with the Babylon Business and Professional Women’s Association at Capt. Bills. The Mayor covered many projects the Village has accomplished in 2005. Seventy eight trees were planted in front of residents’ homes at their request. Thanks go to the Babylon Beautification Society for all the decorated lampposts. Other projects were the Old-Fashioned Night of Shopping sponsored by the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, Christmas at the Conklin House, the lighting by the Business and Professional Women’s Association and theWassail Bowl sponsored by the Babylon Village Historical Society and many more.
