Ss. Cyril and Methodius School in Deer Park recently held an ice-cream ballroom dancing social. The event was held Friday, January 20. Ms. Lindsey Rogan, the school’s music teacher, had been giving the students instruction in ballroom dancing and they entertained the crowd with the fox trot, chacha and Cotton Eye Joe. They were even outfitted for the event with boys wearing tuxedo jackets. Then the students chose one of the afternoon’s guests to dance with.
