84 Lumber Company, the nation’s largest privately-held building materials supplier to professional contractors, has hired Jason Miller as a manager trainee at the 84 Lumber store in Smithtown.

Miller, a native of Bay Shore, graduated from Bay Shore High School in 2004. He is the son of James and Joanne Miller of Bay Shore. Miller currently resides in Bay Shore.

As a manager trainee, Miller is responsible for sales, estimating and material takeoffs, performing instore merchandising and maintaining store and yard appearance.
