Babylon Village resident Jacqueline Vukovich recently earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest recognition one can achieve in Girl Scouting. Vukovich organized, arranged, designed and published a cookbook of snacks and treats for kids to make entitled Kids-4-Kids, a Fun to Cook Book as her Gold Award Project. Town of Babylon Supervisor Steve Bellone presented her with a certificate and resolution declaring January 13, 2006 “Jacqueline Vukovich Day” in the Town of Babylon.
