     The Babylon PTA held its annual Breakfast with Santa. Families came to enjoy food and friends. Santa thrilled the kids with his rousing rendition of the "Night before Christmas.

     The sixth meeting of the 99th year of the Travelers’ Club of Babylon was a Christmas celebration at the home of Nancy Newton on December 15. Two associate members joined in, Grace Zemba and Connie Higgens.

PTA holds annual Bingo night
     The Babylon PTA recently held its annual Bingo Night. Children and parents came to have fun and win new books as prizes. Pictured are some of the night's lucky winners: Emily Freyer, Melanie Candelora, Jennifer Cornbrooks and Julia Harkin.

West Babylon Jr. High School home to historical flag
     West Babylon Junior High School is now home to a flag that proudly waved on West Babylon school grounds from 1961. The flag originally waved at the Main School which was located at the site of what is now the Holiday Square Apartments on Great East Neck Road in West Babylon.

Babylon Rotary Club holds holiday food drive
     The Babylon Rotary Club’s Holiday Food Drive was a huge success. The food, pictured, is only a fraction of the total. It was distributed through the Clergy Cluster to needy families in the area.

Holiday concert by W. Islip Middle School Ensemble
     This year the Rotarians hosted the West Islip Beach Street Middle School Ensemble Singers. As an opening number they performed rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, followed by traditional Hanukkah and Christmas songs.

A special holiday present
     This holiday season, past and present came together at the Babylon Village Historical Society Museum. Once the home of the Babylon Public Library, the historical society was host to the program "Grandparent’s Storytime," where they taped as grandparents read to their grandkids far away.

     The North Babylon Community Youth Services is sponsoring open gym programs during the winter for middle and high school students who are North Babylon residents.

Spirit Day held at Santapogue School
     Last month, Santapogue Elementary School in West Babylon celebrated Spirit Day. In celebration, the school held a poetry contest and was visited by West Babylon High School’s varsity cheerleaders and the four football captains who show their spirit every day.
