Half Hollow Hills School District recognizes faculty members with 25 years or more of service
At a recent Half Hollow Hills Board of Education meeting, faculty members who have been with the district for 25 years or more were honored for their dedicated service. In his welcoming speech, Principal James LoFrese estimated that all of the honored guests combined had 2,500 collective years of service to the school district. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Sheldon Karnilow gave a speech thanking everyone for their dedication. Board of Education members read the names of the honorees and presented each with an inscribed crystal paperweight.
Shown in the photo, left to right, are Otsego Elementary School Special Education teacher Kathy Greguski and first grade teacher Lily Montalbano who are congratulated by Principal Sharon Stepankewich and Assistant Principal Stacey Bernstein.
In the photo, Vice President of the Board of Education Fran Greenspan begins reading the names of the honorees, as Dr. Karnilow waits to shake the honorees’ hands.
