Daniel Schlitt, formerly of Babylon, and the son of the late Charles and Joan (Byrne) Schlitt, recently became engaged to Christina Moore, the daughter of Donald and Alice Moore of Glen Head.

Daniel graduated from Babylon High School and Stony Brook University. Christina graduated from Holy Child High School in Old Westbury , Boston College and Hofstra University. The couple plan to be married in April 2006 at Sts. Philip and James Church in St. James. They will receive family and friends at the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook.
