Alfred E. Thunelius, of West Islip, died October 31, 2005. He was 78 years old.

Mr. Thunelius is predeceased by his wife Rose. Survivors include his children Robert, Marjorie and Vincent Trapani and Gerald and Lisa and Robert Isoldi and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Thunelius reposed at Lang-Tobia-DiPalma Funeral Home, 406 Deer Park Ave., Babylon Village. A service was said at the funeral home on Friday, November 4, 2005. Interment followed in Long Island National Cemetery at Calverton.
