First grade students in Mrs. Ragusa’s class at Santapogue Elementary School, West Babylon, spent the month of September celebrating America. It began on September 11th when students honored the anniversary by wearing the colors red, white and blue. In addition, they learned all about the importance of the Constitution on Constitution Day. The students also created flags to demonstrate their sense of patriotism.
