Residents flock to new Venetian Shores facilities

The Town of Babylon officially opened a brand new casual seafood restaurant and children’s spray park at Venetian Shores Park in Lindenhurst on Saturday, August 6th. Over 1,000 residents were on hand for the opening celebration, taking advantage of the brand new facilities. Residents were raving about the new Beach Hut seafood restaurant and the spray park was filled with children having the time of their lives. Supervisor Steve Bellone was joined by Chairwoman of the Parks and Recreation Committee Councilwoman Carol Quirk, Councilman Wayne Horsley, Councilwoman Ellen McVeety, Town Clerk Janice Tinsley-Colbert and other Town officials for the official ribbon cutting ceremony. The spray park and Beach Hut restaurant are open to all Town of Babylon residents.
