•Aloha Iolani Dance Troupe will be dancing to the Hawaiian Hapa Haole Classics Sunday, April 17, 2 to 3 p.m. There will also be Polynesian dances from Tahiti with music from the beat of the Tahitian drums.

•Skin care for all ages will be offered Wednesday, April 20, 7 to 8:30 p.m. Rebecca Kopcienski, certified beauty and image consultant will help you determine your skin type, examine the most common skin care problems and sort through all the skin care products on the market. A power point presentation will be given on the effects of aging and sun damage.

•The Deer Park Library is offering a bus trip to Longwood Gardens and Valley Forge, Sunday, May 1 to Monday, May 2. You will travel via motorcoach to Longwood Gardens to see the Spectacular Springtime Magic. The cost is $202 per person for double occupancy, $248 for single occupancy and $191 for trip occupancy which includes entry to Gardens with tour guide, overnight lodging at the Radisson, Lily Langtry’s dinner and show, breakfast and guided tour of Valley Forge National Park. •Kaplan Test Prep will offer a two-session program on Saturday, April 16, noon to 4 p.m. and Thursday, April 21, 7 to 8 p.m. which prepares students and parents for the SAT. During the first session, students will take an SAT practice test., The second session provides students with their test results as well as SAT test taking secrets. Parents are welcome to attend the second session. Registration is underway.

•On Sunday, April 17, 2 to 3:30 p.m., certified chef and culinary instructor Patricia Bove will present a brief history of teas and tea presentation, followed by a tasting of several teas and tea cake. In person registration is underway. There is a non-refundable materials fee of $3.

•A resume writing workshop will be held Monday, April 18, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The prerequisite is completion of Computers 102 or have equivalent knowledge. •A New York State pre-licensing course will be held Wednesday, April 27 and Thursday, April 28, 6 to 8:30 p.m. The payment of $40 is payable the first night and you must present your valid Learner’s Permit when you register. Attendance is both classes is mandatory in order to take the road test.
