+Five of Babylon High School's social studies teachers have been identified in the 2004 Who's Who of America's Teachers publication. They are Dr. Mark Malaszczyk, Frank Procaccini, Christopher Ryan, Michael Vergano and Sheila Vaswani.

+Every one of Babylon High School's fall varsity teams has qualified as a Scholar Athlete Team, recognizing that each team has a 90 percent or better academic unweighted average. Additionally, for the first time in Babylon history, the girls varsity soccer team won not only the Suffolk County Championship, but also the Long Island Championship by defeating Nassau County champs Cold Spring Harbor.

+Students in Brian Katz's design and drawing for production class designed and produced 100 high quality wooden push toys that were donated to Toys for Tots.

+The high schools Thespian Troupe 6117 of the International Thespian Society (the Honor Society for Dramatic Arts) participated in the society's annual food drive, delivering 133.6 pounds of non-perishable food to the Care and Share Soup Kitchen in the United Methodist Church on James Street in Babylon.
