The Parents’ Resource Center, which is supported by the Deer Park School District, provides up-to-date information regarding situations that face today’s parents and children. There are reference materials available for on-site review. Some reference materials may be borrowed by parents for more extensive examination.

For more than ten years, parents have been taking advantage of on-going workshops, discussion groups, and Round Table Discussions with District Staff and Administrators that have provided useful information regarding child development, parenting issues, academic curriculum, health, and social/emotional issues. The Parents’ Resource Center looks to the Deer Park community and parents for input in developing new and relevant activities. It is not necessary that participants have a child enrolled in school.
