Mary Roach Connell, of Bay Shore, died August 30, 2004.

Surviving Mrs. Connell are her husband John A.Connell; her children James and his wife Kathleen Roach, Michael and his wife Theresa Roach and Barbara and her husband John Bell; her step-children Catherine and her husband Robert Conway, Susan Mondello, Peggy and her husband Alex Breedon and John A. II and his wife June Connell; her sisters Barbara Sabella and Phyllis Golding; 21 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Connell reposed at the Fredrick J. Chapey and Sons Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy., West Islip. A Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial was said Friday, September 3, 2004 at St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Bay Shore. Interment was in Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to The Arthritis Foundation, Long Island Chapter, 501 Walt Whitman Rd., Melville, NY 11747.
