Osama Bin Laden and Suddam Hussein are not interchangeable
2004-09-17 / Opinion
Dear Editor:
Regarding the letter from Gregory P. Rosen of September 1, I believe someone should inform the writer that Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein are two distinct individuals and are not interchangeable. Bin Laden, who is still at large, caused 9/11 and the 3,500 corpses that the writer erroneously attributes to Saddam Hussein.
Can’t we clearly state once and for all, that our current casualty listing of 7,000 wounded and 975 killed was directed at an event who may be as despicable as Mr. Rosen claims but had nothing to do with the devastation of 9/11.
