•Get into the holiday spirit Saturday, December 20, 2 to 3:30 p.m. when VOICES presents their portrayal of Miracle on 34th Street. Free tickets are available at registration.

•Join Barbara Krupit, discussion leader for Insight Into Current Issues December 19, 1 to 3 p.m. Discuss what the world is coming to before it gets here. Bring your own lunch; coffee and tea will be served.

•Mariam Fink returns Thursdays, January 22, 29, February 5 and 12 for a Woven Basket class. Material fee to be determined. Learn how to create a woven masterpiece to keep for yourself or present as a gift. Registration prior to the program is mandatory.

•Toby Davidson returns Sunday, January 25 at noon for a No-Sew Bug Envelope Pillow craft class. $12 materials fee and bring a 14 inch pillow to class. Registration prior to the program is mandatory.

•The library will be closed beginning Wednesday, December 17 and will reopen Monday, January 5. In accordance with applicable Federal, State and local regulations, asbestos containing materials will be abated from the library. There are currently no friable conditions which might be harmful to individuals. Neighboring public libraries will welcome the Deer Park residents who need to have access to library services. Registration fro the Deer Park library adult programs will begin Tuesday, January 6, 10 a.m. For further information or questions, please contact the library.
