Dani Mullin, of West Islip, age 13, was the first place winner in the 12 to 14-year old girls’ division of United Commercial Travelers’ (UCT) New York Regional Junior Golf Tournament held July 12 at the Valley View Golf Course in Utica, New York. Mullin has earned the right to participate in UCT’s 19th annual International Junior Golf Tournament held August 3 to 5. Youth golfers from across the United States and Canada will participate in the two-day, 36-hold tournament, which will take place at Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

This fall, Mullin will be in the eighth grade at Beach Street Middle School. She is the daughter of Patrick and Arlene Mullin.

UCT is a non-profit fraternal benefit society offering members various insurance products and other benefits. The organizations also pursues civic service activities including youth programs, public safety and drug awareness campaigns, cancer education and prevention and aid to people with mental retardation.
