Beacon welcomes the latest arrivals... •Robert and Maria Hyde of Babylon announce the birth of son, Robert Anthony. Robert was born on July 3, 2002 at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip. He weighed eight pounds, 15-ounces and was 21-inches in length. Robert has a sister, Julianna and his grandparents are Vi Iannotta from Lindenhurst and Paul Hyde from North Babylon. Paul Scheibel from East Islip, Michelle Iannotta from Amity Harbor, and Robert Taylon from North Babylon were all named as godparents. •Gabriel Alexander Durkin was born on July 9, 2002 to parents Daniel and Meyhen Durkin. He was born at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip and weighed seven pounds, one ounce and was 20- inches long. His brother, James is six years old. His grandmother is Monica Lorenzana from Babylon. •Natalie Catherine Comuniello was born on July 10, 2002 at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip. She weighed six pounds, 10 ounces and was 20-inches long. Her parents, James and Stephanie are from Deer Park. Grandparents Ronald and Lorraine Maisano are also from Deer Park and grandmother, Felicia Comuniello is from Franklin Square. Anthony Comuniello from New Jersey has been named as godfather. No godmother has been named as of yet. •Patrick and Pamela Long of Babylon announce the birth of their daughter, Oliva. Olivia was born on July 10, 2002 at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip and weighed seven pounds, six ounces. She was 20 inches in length. Madison is Olivia’s two year sister. Patrick Long of North Babylon and Jean Guest from Massachusetts are the grandparents. The godparents are Debby and Dean Carbonetti of North Babylon. •John and Christine Jimenex of Deer Park announce the birth of their first son, John. John was born at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip on July 12, 2002. He weighed seven pounds and 13 and one-half ounces. He was 19-inches long. He joins his Amanda who is five years old. His grandparents are Joseph and Marie Mille of Deer Park and Marguerite Jimenez of Massapequa. His great-grandmother Rosa Ramos, is also from Massapequa. Denise Fox of Deer Park and David Jimenez of East Meadow have been named as godparents. •Keith and Lisann Goldhamer from Deer Park announce the birth of their first child, a daughter Jessica who was born at Good Samaritan Hospital on May 29, 2002. She weighed six pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 and one-half inches long. She was welcomed home by her paternal grandparents Bernard and Judy Goldhamer of Deer park and her maternal grandparents, Theresa and William Lightbody from North Babylon. Jessica’s great grandmother, is Priscilla Karlboff of Florida. Godparents are Brian Goldhammer of New Jersey and Robin Speciale of Merrick. —Compiled by Christina Troiano
