Clifford places in finals
at Empire State Games
Mike Clifford, a junior at West Islip High School, placed in the finals of both the one and three meter dives at the 25th anniversary of the Empire State Games. Clifford broke the "Elite State diving levels" at the event, which was held at Syracuse University over the summer. "I have had a great time there," said Mike. "I am psyched for the High School season. The team spirit at Syracuse was outstanding."
Last summer Mike was a member of the Empire Water Polo Team and won a silver medal.
