The Lindenhurst Oktoberfest will be held in the Village of Lindenhurst beginning Friday, October 4 through Sunday, October 6. On Friday and Saturday, rides, games and food will kick off the Oktoberfest at the Midway, located west of North Wellwood Avenue at the intersection of West Hoffman Avenue and School Street. Operation hours are from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday and from 2 until 10 p.m. on Saturday. From 2 to 5 p.m. on that day, rides will cost only $1 each. From noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, there will be continuous live entertainment on Wellwood Avenue along with an antique and classic car show. At the Village Square gazebo, enjoy a traditional German Beer Garden atmosphere complete with German faire with a German Oompah band and Bavarian dancers. The street will be lined with arts and crafts, food and merchandise vendors.

The Lindenhurst Rotary Club, in cooperation with the Downtown Revitalization Committee is sponsoring the event in conjunction with the village of Lindenhurst.
