John Michael Ilich, of Lindenhurst, died April 11, 2002. He is predeceased by his wife Helen. Surviving Mr. Ilich are his children, Mary Ellen Ilich and John Ilich; his brother Nicholas and his granddaughter, Inga.

Mr. Ilich was a lifetime, 50-year member of the Steam Fitters Union Local 638.

Mr. Ilich reposed at the Lindenhurst Funeral Home, 424 South Wellwood Ave., Lindenhurst. A Mass of Christian Burial was said Monday, April 15, 2002 at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, West Babylon. Interment was in St. Charles Cemetery.
