Southside Hospital, a not-for-profit hospital, and also a part of the North Shore-LIJ Health System, located in Bay Shore is looking for crocheters and knitters to knit or crochet lap blankets for their patients. They are also looking for anyone who would like to donate yarn.

The volunteer office will supply donated yarn for the blankets. If you are interested in helping them out in making these blankets, please contact the volunteer office at Southside Hospital at 631-968-3442.
