WB students raise funds for tiny cause

2001-08-30 / People/Social

The first grade students of South Bay Elementary School in West Babylon recently raised funds to purchase resuscitation dolls for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit's Infant CPR Course. The course is taught by Trish Leggio, RN and is offered to the parents of newborns who are discharged from the NICU. Pictured with Nurse Manager Sue Devault, RN are first grade teachers Susan Hickey, Jeanette Brescia and Ann Lauricella who coordinated the donation. As the course grows, so does the need for more dolls.
