North Babylon still remains a great place Dear Editor:
We moved from Queens to North Babylon nearly 30 years ago after seeing our neighborhood take a turn for the worse. North Babylon has had its
toll of change as well, but has still remained a great place for use to raise our children. However, one of the best highlights of living here has been the Village of Babylon.
It’s a comfort to know that the Village has remained as quaint and well kept as it was so many years ago. Mayor Don Conroy has done a great job
in maintaining the image of this terrific walking area. We have noticed that the Mayor has also been able to keep the nostalgic look of Babylon, while at the same time, added modern standards and pedestrian conveniences to keep up with the times.
It’s nice to know that the Mayor of Babylon Village is looking out for our best interests and preserving a piece of history for all Long Islanders to enjoy. While times have changed for many neighborhoods, Babylon Village has served as a constant reminder that some elected officials really do care about our community.
