North Babylon's highest honors

North Babylon High School has awarded its highest honors to Valedictorian Jeffrey Colin and Salutatorian Melody Fassino. Colin received the Gold Key for his participation in varsity tennis, bowling and cross-country. He is in the Nassau Suffolk wind symphony and drum captain in the High School marching band. Colin will be attending Columbia University in their school of engineering and applied sciences, majoring in chemical engineering. Fassino was very involved in the drama productions in the high school, the literary magazine and in the club, Students for a Better World. She will be attending New York University in their school of film and television.
