Town of Babylon recently honored Fred Masterson with a certificate of special recognition. Masterson is member of the Town of Babylon's Public Safety Department. His quick thinking and outstanding work saved the life of an adult female at Overlook Beach. We cannot say enough about our wonderful volunteer firefighters and the work they did at the scene of the Narragansett Inn fire on Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst. Every department in the Town of Babylon, as well as the West Islip Fire Department and the Wyandanch- Wheatley Heights rescue service rushed to the scene of this tremendous blaze. More...
