	Town of Babylon recently honored Fred Masterson with a certificate of special recognition.  Masterson is member of the Town of Babylon's Public Safety Department.  His quick thinking and outstanding work saved the life of an adult female at Overlook Beach. The U.S. Coast Guard Flotilla 1-2 of Amityville is holding a Safe Boating Course Saturday, August 4 at theÿWilliam Kay Memorial Building, 16 Greene Ave., Amityville. Topics include an introduction to boating, personal safety, handling your boat and navigation. The cost is $45 for adults and $25 for children. For more info., call 631-691-1801.
