Enid Krage, a former resident of North Babylon and Dix Hills, died July 5, 2001 in Pompano Beach. She was 75 years old.

Enid Krage was a champion roller dancer and past President of the New York State Insurance Women Association. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, bowling, playing poker and bridge.

While in Pompano Beach, she was active in the Crystal Lake Condo Association, and an officer at the Pompano Beach Senior Center. She was also an usher at the Broward County Center for Performing Arts and a world traveler with her friend Joy, who survives her.

In addition, she is survived by her sons Karl and Fred and her grandchildren, Marina, Kaitlin, Anna, Susan; her brother Harry, her aunt Elizabeth, and her cousin Barbara. Funeral services were private.
