I rarely put in my two cents, but I was amazed at the pictures of the West Babylon Volunteer Firemen being honored by the Town of Babylon.

The honorees are delegated to the back row of the picture. The chiefs are usually behind their men unless it’s the military - where they supposedly lead the charge!

Continuing to look at the photo, I did see the awards in a couple of the men’s hands. I would much rather have seen a picture where I could recognize the honorees rather than the politicians.

I do believe firemen, S. Calcagano, T. O’Brian, R. Sullo and W. Bedula should have an exclusive photo showing them close up with their citations.
