Former resident promoted to Police Captain in Florida

Brett Patterson, a former 18-year-resident of Babylon Village was appointed to the rank of police captain with the City of West Palm Beach Police Department on April 15. Patterson has served the city for nearly 17 years and has worked in the capacity of road patrol, field training officer, undercover, records and grant writing. Captain Patterson is now assigned as the commander of staff services managing recruiting, training, promotions, crime analysis, accreditation and the planning and research unit. Patterson is shown here with his wife Kelly and daughters, Ashli, age 12; Brittaney, age 10 and Nicole, age five.
