WALK radio gives Helping Hands a helping hand

2001-03-21 / People/Social

At a special luncheon held recently, the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition proudly accepted a generous contribution in support of its Lend a Helping Hand program.

The Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition’s Lend a Helping Hand program offers a variety of important support services to those diagnosed with breast cancer throughout the community. Some of the services include round-trip transportation for treatment as well as housecleaning and child care.

The donation which was given to the BBCC from WALK-FM 97.5 resulted from sales of a limited edition, variety CD entitled Yesterday & Today 2000. The CD was sold exclusively at all Long Island Nutrition Warehouse and Vitamin World locations.
