The Town of Babylon held its 13th annual Black History program last month. The theme of this year’s event was "Strong Men for Tough Times."
In the photo H. Carl McCall, the New York State Comptroller is shown speaking at the event. McCall was first elected in May, 1993 and in 1998 was reelected with the highest number of votes of any other statewide candidate. Students from Bethel AME Church and the JROTC program of Wyandanch High School took part in the ceremonies.
