Open House at local Social Security office

August 14 is the 65th anniversary of the signing of the Social Security Act. To commemorate the day, the staff of the Lindenhurst Social Security Office will be holding an open house. Members of the public are invited to join them in marking the anniversary of a program that has made a tremendous difference in many lives for 65 years. The event will be held, August 14, 9 a.m. to noon at the Social Security Office, 95 East Hoffman Ave., Lindenhurst. Refreshments will be served.
