Roy H. Nilsen, of Wilmington Delaware, died September 13, 2000 at the age of 73 at his home. Mr. Nilsen was a devoted husband and father. He was born in Brooklyn. He retired from Star Enterprises in Delaware City as a computer-aided designer in 1992 after six years. He also worked at one time for more than 20 years at Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Lester, Pennsylvania. He was a Master Mason at Temple Lodge Number 11 AF & AM. He was a dedicated church member and participant at the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Wilmington.

Mr. Nilson was predeceased in 1991 by his wife Betty J. (Bates). He is survived by his daughter Susan Aneta Nilson of Natick, Massachusetts; his brothers Carsten of Lockwood, New York, Arne of Goshen, New Hampshire and Henry of Deer Park. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Helen Aneta Bates of Wilmington, Delaware and formerly of Babylon.

A memorial service was held Sunday, September 17 at the McCrery Memorial Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington. Interment was private.
