William A. Willis Sr., former resident of West Islip
      William A. Willis Sr., of West Islip, died June 26, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Wilma, his children, Celeste McKinstry and William A. Willis Jr.; his grandchildren, William A. III, Ryan M. and Melinda M. Willis and Amanda McKinstry and Ethan McKinstry. Also surviving Mr. Willis are his brother Arthur Willis and cousin Murial Guba.

      Helen D. Hanrahan, of West Islip, died June 26, 2000. She is predeceased by her husband, John and her daughter, Deborah. Surviving Mrs. Hanrahan are her children, Richard J. and Patricia; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, John; her daughter-in-law Jeanette C. and sons-in-law Ernest P. and Steven J. Her brother, James Farrell, precedeased her.

She is survived by her husband, Steven; her daughter Diana and her husband Michael; her son David and his wife Maureen; her granddaughter, Miranda and her aunt Wanda. Mrs. Muench is also survived by her mother and father-in-law Michael and Margaret; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hans and Doris, Walter and Susie and Stephen and Dorothy and nieces Maryanna and Christana.

Joseph "Buddy" Veth, 47, former resident of Deer Park
      Joseph "Buddy" Veth, of Deer Park, died July 16, 2000 at the age of 47. Mr. Veth was a dedicated employee of Con Edison, New York City, a proud member of AOH Division 7 and Greenwood Lake Elks. He is survived by his wife Penny Hallenback; his mother, Margaret; his sister, Margaret; his brothers, Michael and Matthew; his stepdaughters Kelly and Kara Hallenback and granddaughter, Alexa. His father, Joseph, predeceased.
