At the annual dinner of the American Chemical Society, Bryce Kirschbaum was presented with a plaque for outstanding work in chemistry. This award demonstrated Kirschbaum’s commitment to his studies, especially in science. He was accompanied at the dinner by his proud parents and Science Director Richard Vultaggio. Vultaggio said "Bryce is truly an outstanding student; one that exemplified the finest attributes of Babylon students. I know his parents are extremely proud of his accomplishments."
