Thomas Femister, of West Islip, died June 18, 2000 at the age of 59. He is survived by his wife, Caroline; his children, Kelly, Jennifer and Caroline Gustavson and his grandchildren Nicholas and Marisa. Also surviving Mr. Femister are his brother Edward and sisters, Maureen Bruszewski and Margie Nicotra.

Family received friends at the Lang-Tobia-DiPalma Funeral Home, 255 Higbie Ln., West Islip. A Mass of Christian Burial was said at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church, June 21, 2000. Interment followed at Holy Rood Cemetery.
