Margaret (Peggy) Hannigan, a lifelong resident of West Islip, died March 14, 2000. Her husband Donald predeceased her. Mrs. Hannigan is survived by her daughters Donna Sullivan, Denise Townsend, Catherine McLaughlin, Patricia Greco and sons-in-law Bob Sullivan, Dennis Townsend, Bernie McLaughlin and Steve Greco; her grandchildren, Adam, Myles, Erin, Shawn, Maggie, Christopher and Caroline and her great grandchildren Bryan and Jessica. Mrs. Hannigan was a faithful member of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church.

A Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial was said Friday, March 17, 2000, 9:45 a.m. at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Babylon. Arrangements were under the direction of the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Homes of West Islip and East Islip.
