Caroline Kipybida, long-time resident of West Islip

Caroline Kipybida (nee Chunyk), a long-time resident of West Islip, died March 14, 2000 at the age of 91. She is predeceased by her husband Michael. Surviving Mrs. Kipybida is her daughter Diana Formas; her grandchildren Jayne and Harry Manko of Bay Shore; her great grandchildren Tim, Melissa and Billy; her companion Pepper; her sister-in-law Minerva Chunyk, her brother Wallace and his wife Sig and sister Anne DeLucca and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kipybida is predeceased by her son-in-law Skip, her brother Edward Chunyk and her sisters-in-law Florence and Sadie Chunyk.

Funeral Mass was said Friday, March 17, 2000, 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, West Islip. Interment followed in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Babylon. Arrangements were under the direction of the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Homes of East Islip and West Islip.
