POLICE BLOTTER
The Suffolk County Police Department’s First Precinct and other local fire and law enforcement agencies report the following incidents. ROBBERY
Lindenhurst: Two men carrying guns entered a Montauk Highway store the afternoon of Jan. 18 and proceeded to steal $100. Police are investigating. BURGLARY
Copiague: Someone took a wallet from an Emerson Avenue home during some renovations. The theft occurred on Jan. 24. Police are investigating.
West Babylon: Police reported that someone stole three televisions Jan. 16 from a Columbus Avenue home.
Wyandanch: On Jan. 20, someone broke into a William Street home and stole assorted items.
•Police were called the night of Jan. 19 to report a break-in at a South 24th Street home. It was not known what may have been taken.
Wheatley Heights: Opening a window at a North 20th Street home the afternoon of Jan. 20, someone then reached in and swiped a cell phone before fleeing. GRAND LARCENY
East Farmingdale: A number of undisclosed items were taken Jan. 19 from a car parked on Route 109.
Deer Park: A Deer Park Avenue store reported the unauthorized use of a credit card. Police are investigating.
Babylon Village: Someone stole a laptop computer and a backpack from a gray Dodge parked on Locust Avenue Jan. 20. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
West Babylon: A car parked on Cedar Drive was vandalized Jan. 18.
•On Jan. 25, someone flung an unidentified object at the windshield of a car on 5th Street. ARRESTS
DWI. The following persons have been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated or impaired: Rebeca Baird-Fusco, 225 38th St., Lindenhurst; John Cruz, 207 Margareeta Ave., Massapequa; Jeffrey Hirsch, 33 Longshore St., Bay Shore; John Jenkins, 87 11th Ave., Huntington Station.
Grand Larceny: Salvatore Garguilo, 220 Lafayette St., Copiague; Valerie Baldwin-Jennings, 46 North 13th St., Wyandanch;
Robbery: Shaquan Humphrey, 1521 Straight Path, Wyandanch.
The charges against those arrested are allegations, and the cases are still pending in the courts. Individuals charged and whose names appear in this column may submit documentation to us at a later date that the charges have been dismissed or that they have been found innocent and we will include that information in this space in a timely manner.
