     Lindenhurst Middle School recently celebrated Teen Read Week, challenging all students to read as much as they could within one week. The three students in each grade who clocked the most reading time received savings bonds donated by Washington Mutual Bank in Lindenhurst.

entertain at local nursing care center

     On December 7, the students from Captree Elementary School, West Islip, entertained the residents of Our Lady of Consolation. The residents enjoyed the smiling faces and sweet voices of the students singing various holiday songs.
