Give rain a chance
     The sound of rain beating against my bedroom window Monday night brought two conflicting sentiments. First, I thought of the thousands who had recently bailed out of flooded basements after 11 straight days of rain and hoped we were not in for a repeat performance.

     The Babylon Village Fire Department has done a fantastic job in helping the residents get through the high water issues and oil burner problems.

     Just wanted to say that Babylon Village employees Skip Garner and Scott Glenn went the extra mile for me and the other Village residents that have been affected by the recent floods and high tides that we have had in the past two weeks.
