Our courts need judges with intelligence and common sense I read the letter in the Sept 15th issue, about the judge ruling against the Boy Scouts because they have to pledge allegiance to God. Unless I’m very mistaken, doesn’t the President, Members of Congress, Supreme Court judges, and probably all federal judges have to do this when they take office? Also, our money says "In God We Trust". Are they going to rule that all our money is illegal? I think we’d be smart to rule federal judges illegal. What we need are some intelligent judges who are more interested in the Constitution than they are in seeing their names in the news. We need to find a way to eliminate the ACLU which, to me, stands for "All Criminal Lovers United". There is no question in my mind that they are a fascist organization which is solely for the purpose of making trouble. Nearly everything the ACLU says is against our American way of life. I don’t understand why judges can’t see that. With groups like the ACLU, we don’t need to worry about terrorists, the ACLU is destroying this country. Claude Bedell, Mission Viejo, CA
