Support the Holiday Basket Program to help
local residents this holiday season
Tucked away in the middle of Suburbia, Wyandanch residents struggle to meet the high cost of shelter and utility bills with very limited money. Along with the many other services provided, more than 700 families count on us to help them out with food and clothing each month of the year. In the spirit of the holiday season, The Gerald J. Ryan Outreach center provides local families with a special Thanksgiving and Christmas meal package as well as toys for children. Last year the organization gifted over 1650 children. With normal donations being redirected to the victims of the tragedy in the gulf, the organization is struggling to provide for local families.
