Operation Homework Program offers help

Is your child having trouble completing homework assignments? Does he/she need more assistance in order to get started or to keep from getting distracted. Enroll your child in Family Service League’s Operation Homework Program located at the new Iovino Family Center, 1444 Fifth Ave., Bay Shore. Students in grades one to eight will have the opportunity to receive free individual help with their homework and learn how to organize and complete their homework assignments. A voluntary computer-based reading improvement program will also be offered at no cost as part of Operation Homework. The program is designed to assist children in strenghtening their basic reading skills.
