COMPASS acknowledges Babylon community
During the June Babylon Board of Education meeting, COMPASS (Community, Parents, School, Students) facilitator Karyn Kirschbaum praised residents and staff for their participation and accomplishments during the 2004-2005 school year. COMPASS also includes local organizations, such as the Boy Scouts, and businesses in its effort to encourage healthy lifestyle choices, community support focusing on prevention and resistance to drugs and alcohol, family networking, wholesome activities, respect and responsible behavior.
